ABOUT US
Touch A Truck San Diego is a fundraiser that raises money for kid’s cancer research and clinical trials. It has been produced each year since 2009 by Beat Nb (formerly Max's Ring of Fire), a 501c3 non-profit.
About Beat Nb
Beat Nb is a foundation started by the parents of pediatric cancer patients, dedicated to working with cancer researchers and oncologists to speed up discoveries of potentially life-saving new drugs for children with neuroblastoma. The goal is to find innovative, effective treatments through funding of clinical trials and other research. Our main beneficiary is the NMTRC (Neuroblastoma & Medulloblastoma Translational Research Consortium), chaired by Dr. Giselle Sholler, who treated Max for over two years.
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.

About Touch A Truck San Diego
Touch A Truck San Diego (TAT) is our flagship fundraising event. One of the coolest things about TAT is that the entire event is produced, planned and executed by volunteers. We have no paid staff. We believe that if our goal is to raise money for a very important cause – helping fight kid’s cancer – all of the money should go to that end.
- 100% of the funds raised through ticket sales, food & vendor donations, direct donations, and fundraising go to benefit kid’s cancer research and clinical trials.
- Sponsors underwrite cash costs of producing Touch A Truck, with any excess added to the funds raised.
